Lehlohonolo Seema believes that Orlando Pirates have enough to topple Mamelodi Sundowns to the 2025/26 Betway Premiership title.
Siwelele coach Lehlohonolo Seema reckons that Orlando Pirates can stop Mamelodi Sundowns from winning their ninth league title in a row despite dropping points in their latest league assignment.
Pirates could only manage a 1-1 draw with Siwelele in their last Betway Premiership match, giving Sundowns the opportunity to reclaim top spot on the table.
As it stands, Pirates lead the way at the top of the pile by one point, 48 overall, while Downs have a game in hand at their disposal.
According to Seema however, Pirates remain in the race to bag their first league title since the 2011/12 campaign.
“I think Orlando Pirates are a team that can still go and win this league,” Seema said, as per GOAL.
“I don’t think that the draw is bad for them or makes them look like a bad team because we suffered until the end.
“We played against this team twice and lost, but I can at least smile that we came from Orlando with a point.”
