Peter Shalulile has reportedly walked through the exit doors at Chloorkop, ending a hugely successful career with Sundowns.
According to reports in PSL media, Mamelodi Sundowns striker Peter Shalulile has left the PSL giants following the end to his contract with the club.
As per Soccer Laduma, Shalulile ‘parted ways’ with the Tshwane side on 30 June while both parties agreed not to exercise the one-year option attached to his deal.
It’s said that Shalulile’s immediate future became a major topic of discussion after being linked with clubs in Africa and the Middle East.
With Shalulile no longer contracted to Downs, the Namibian leaves as a free-agent, ending a successful six-year spell with the South African juggernauts.
The 32-year-old scored 107 goals in 228 games for the club, while recording 27 assists along the way. Shalulile is also a five-time league winner with Sundowns, while he also lifted the 2025/26 CAF Champions League title in his final campaign with the club.
