Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso reserved special praises for his support system after the Brazilians reached their second-consecutive CAF Champions League final.
The Tshwane-giants saw out a gritty 2-0 aggregate win over ES Tunis across two legs to book their ticket in the final as they target their second star in Africa’s elite club football competition.
Downs will face either RS Berkane or AS FAR in the final, spearheaded by Cardoso, who will make his third consecutive appearance in the final .
“I want to thank the people who trusted me and brought me to this club,” Cardoso said, as per IOL.
“We need to speak about the players; there are more important things than coaches.
“They go onto the pitch and make things happen. A very big thank you to them.
“They received us with open arms and hearts from the first day. It has been a wonderful journey together, with ups and downs, good and bad moments”.
