In what was a move that excited Pirates fans on Thursday, Mohau Nkota has now returned to the club for the 2026/27 season.
Orlando Pirates have bolstered their attack line for the new campaign with the acquisition of former crowd pleaser Mohau Nkota.
Nkota joined Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Ettifaq on a three-year deal last season, where he battled to make a name for himself following a promising showing in South African football.
The Bafana Bafana winger made 22 appearances for Al-Ettifaq last season, recording two goals and three assists along the way. Now, hoping to regather his usual confidence, Pirates took to their social media pages to announce that Nkota joined the club on a season-long loan deal.
“Welcome back Mohau Nkota,” Pirates confirmed on social media.
“Orlando Pirates is pleased to welcome Mohau Nkota back on a season long loan.”
