Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou believes that the club’s latest signings have settled well into new surroundings amid forging a plan to get all new players on the same hymn sheet.
The Soweto giants have bolstered their squad ahead of the new season, with Sebastian Perdesen, Mthetheleli Mthiyane, Sbangani Zulu, Gamphani Lungu, Bohlale Ngwato, Neo Rapoo and Aphiwe Baliti joining the reigning Betway Premiership champions.
Speaking on their progression, Ouaddou noted that his signings will add a new layer of technical prowess to the squad.
“Sportively, I think they bring us some freshness, some aim, technicality as well,” Ouaddou told the media, as per Soccer Laduma.
“If you see, I’ll take one for example, Matome (Mmolai) that he brings us this freshness from the lower division. It’s like he’s already with us, it’s like he was already playing with us.
“I think they really integrated well, and the senior players helped them to integrate. But I’m sure we’ll have to be, for some of them, patient, because we don’t have to burn them but to bring them step by step, because I think the club has a vision.
“We have a project for them, and it’s up to us to build them and to bring them step by step to the highest level.”
