The Glamour Boys recently announced Adolf Mtasingwa Bitegeko as their latest midfield acquisition, joining from Azam FC for a reported undisclosed fee.
With Kaizer Chiefs hoping to challenge for a lofty place on the Betway Premiership table this coming season, the Soweto giants have bolstered their engine room with the signing of Adolf Mtasingwa Bitegeko from Tanzania.
Bitegeko joined the club with bags of experience given his time with teams from Iceland, Norway and Finland across six season in his career.
In addition to his experience, the 27-year-old served as Azam FC’s captain, while he played as the vice-captain for the Tanzania national team.
“The 27-year-old defensive midfielder, who was captain at Azam, becomes the first player from Tanzania to join Amakhosi,” Chiefs confirmed on their official website.
“His arrival adds to the impressive list of players from over 20 different African countries who have worn the famous Gold & Black jersey”.
“We warmly welcome Adolf to the family and wish him success on his journey with the Glamour Boys”.
