Kaizer Chiefs coach Cedric Kaze recently spoke of his optimism regarding the Glamour Boys’ immediate future following a third-place finish in the 2025/26 Betway Premiership campaign.
Along with finishing third in the league, Chiefs have also qualified for the CAF Confederations Cup as the club likewise seek to do well in Africa.
In assessment of Chiefs’ season, Kaze believes that the Soweto giants could have been better but at the same time, are well equipped to compete consistently.
“I’ll summarise that it was a good season,” Kaze said, as per Soccer Laduma.
“It could have been better, that’s for sure, and we know that. We have laid the foundation for better things in the future because we wanted to be high up there and to compete for the title until the end.
“But there are lessons that have been learned, and that will be put into consideration going forward.”
