Riaan Hanamub has urged AmaZulu remain in ‘good spirits’ as Usuthu push for a loft position in the Betway Premiership this season.
As it stands, AmaZulu are in fourth position on the league table, one point behind third placed Kaizer Chiefs who have two games in hand.
AmaZulu are currently on a four-match unbeaten streak in the league following a positive showing during the second-half of the season. Speaking ahead of Usuthu’s latest match against Siwelele, Hanamub believes that his side are capable of doing better during the run-in period of the campaign.
“We need to keep the boys in good spirits because we know what they are capable of,” Hanamub said, as per IOL.
“Also, the second half of the season is tough – we can’t rely on what we did earlier and think it will be easy.
“It’s going to be hard. So, the character and mentality we show will play a big role in these games for the rest of the season.”
