Kaizer Chiefs coach Cedric Kaze lauded the Glamour Boys’ character showcased in the last couple of weeks, particularly after their 2-0 win over Magesi in the Betway Premiership this past Saturday.
Following a run of three consecutive defeats, Chiefs have now recorded back-to-back wins in the league as they occupy fourth position with 36 pints after 20 matches. According to Kaze, Chiefs needed to stay calm during their sticky spell.
“I always believed that the difficult moment we went through was conditioned by a lot of injuries and suspensions,” Kaze said, as per IOL.
“When you have important players that are playing regularly two, three or four games in a row, that gives the stability we’re looking for.
“We knew why we were in the difficult moment and the important thing was that we stayed calm.
“We need to keep that temperament and work every day to keep the momentum.”
