Kaizer Chiefs’ sporting director, Kaizer Motaung Junior, says Amakhosi must learn from Orlando Pirates’ resilience and strong turnaround.
Amakhosi are enduring one of their worst PSL-era runs, having lost four straight games across all competitions, including a humiliating 3-0 loss to Pirates on February 28.
This has heightened scrutiny on Chiefs’ Betway Premiership struggles, while Pirates continue to lead with superior form.
“People can try and compare to say Pirates have lost one less game,” Motaung told Marawa Sports Worldwide.
“It’s not about that, they are on a different journey, we have a lot to learn from the journey that they have taken.
“They started the season on not one of the best foot, fought back to be able to take two trophies, to be able to put that performance even against us.”
Chiefs will be determined to avoid a fifth defeat when they host Durban City at FNB Stadium on March 15 in a league clash.
