Abdeslam Ouaddou believes that Relebohile Mofokeng has all the tools necessary to play in the number 10 position.
Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou is convinced that Relebohile Mofokeng can become a major asset for the Soweto giants in an attacking midfield role following his glittering performance against Magesi in the Betway Premiership this past weekend.
Mofokeng was a star turner during Pirates’ 2-0 victory over Magesi on home soil this past Saturday after the 20-year-old grabbed a goal and an assist en-route to victory.
Traditionally a winger, the Bucs mentor expressed that playing to Mofokeng’s strengths can only benefit the team.
“I think when you are training players like that, with such talent, you have to identify their qualities and the position where they can play,” Ouaddou said, as per Hollywood Bets.
“We knew that he is able to play on the side, but with the qualities that he has, he can help us in the middle, and that is what he did.
“He is somebody who can access the situation before he receives the ball in terms of decision-making. He is able to take the decision before he receives the ball.
“It’s more than football, when you have this kind of player in your team, you have to use him well.”
