Moroccan Champions confirm South Africa international signing

Moroccan Botola Pro champions Maghreb Association Sportive de Fès have completed the permanent signing of Devin Titus after triggering his buy-out clause.

The 25-year-old winger leaves Stellenbosch FC—the South African side’s most-capped outfield player with 176 matches and second-highest goalscorer with 36 goals—to join Maghreb on a three-year deal.

“DEVIN TITUS IS OFFICIALLY A MAS PLAYER ✍️ Welcome to our new player in Morocco Fassi,” a club statement read.

Stellenbosch issued a statement regarding Titus’ move to Maghreb, where he will play alongside fellow South Africa international Tshegofatso Mabasa, who recently joined the North African side.

“A graduate of Stellies’ renowned development programme, Titus captained the reserve team to the DStv Diski Challenge and Premier League Next Gen titles in 2022, before becoming a mainstay in the first team,” a club statement read. https://x.com/StellenboschFC/status/2089081485072695477

“Across the previous four seasons, he missed only one domestic league match, and helped Stellenbosch win the 2023 Carling Knockout as Player of the Tournament, reach back-to-back MTN8 finals in 2024 and 2025, and qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup in consecutive campaigns.

“He also became a full Bafana Bafana international during his time in the Cape Winelands and represented South Africa at the 2024 COSAFA Cup, winning three caps in total.”
