Newly signed Orlando Pirates star Neo Rapoo expressed that he is blessed to represent the Soweto giants as one of the country’s best up-and-coming talents.
The 20-year-old joined Pirates from Siwelele ahead of the 2026/27 season and made his club debut during their 2-0 win over Milford last Saturday after he replaced Deon Hotto in the 75th minute.
Apart from enjoying his cameo, Rapoo noted that playing alongside former SuperSport United teammates helped him adjust to new surroundings.
“Firstly, I didn’t believe it was actually happening, but once I came on, I just told myself to keep it simple and just enjoy the moment, you know,” Rapoo said on the official Pirates website.
“I’m privileged to play for this big club and blessed as well.
“Playing with Owsin Appollis, Patrick Maswanganyi, Thalente Mbatha and others at SuperSport and coming here with Bohlale Ngwato and Gamphani Lungu – it just felt good to be there”.
