Sekhukhune United recently announced the signing of former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Melusi Buthelezi as he joins the club on a free transfer.
Following Renaldo Leaner’s departure to Kaizer Chiefs, Sekhukhune United turned their attention to Buthelezi after he plied his trade for the likes of TS Galaxy and Pirates.
The 28-year-old racked up 47 matches in the PSL for his past clubs, recording 25 clean sheets while he conceded 35 goals.
“Sekhukhune United Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeper Melusi Buthelezi on a permanent transfer,” Sekhukhune revealed in a statement.
“The experienced shot-stopper joins Babina Noko having been part of the team that accomplished trophy-winning campaigns.
“He brings with him quality, experience and a winning mentality to the squad. Melusi is eager to begin this new chapter and is determined to work hard as he looks to rediscover his best form with Sekhukhune United.
