The first winners of the Betway Premiership monthly awards for 2026 have been named, with Miguel Cardoso, Relebohile Mofokeng and Glody Lilepo all honoured.
Cardoso was named Betway Premiership Coach of the Month for the January-February period. The Portuguese tactician guided his side to four league victories from four games over that period, including a vital 2-1 win over title challengers Orlando Pirates.
Mofokeng was given the Betway Premiership Player of the Month award for his fine form. The 21-year-old bagged three goals and three assists in the league between January and February, and perhaps more impressively earned three consecutive Man of the Match awards.
Lilepo was awarded with Betway Premiership Goal of the Month for his strike in Kaizer Chiefs’ 1-0 win over Marumo Gallants at the Dr. Petrus Molemela Stadium on 28 January. In the 67th minute, the Congolese winger found the back of the net with a thumping strike from a near impossible angle by the right sideline.
The awards were voted for by an independent judging panel formed of PSL accredited journalists and broadcasters.
