Orlando Pirates will be on a mission to avenge a surprise defeat after the PSL conducted the Carling Knockout semi-final draw on Wednesday night.
The draw was conducted at the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium shortly after Marumo Gallants had thumped Stellenbosch FC 4-0 to secure their place in the last four.
It produced two exciting matches as Pirates will travel to the KwaZulu-Natal Province, where they will lock horns with a tricky Richards Bay side.
This will be the second meeting between the two teams in this cup competition, as Richards Bay stunned a much-fancied Pirates side when they met in the quarter-finals in 2023.
The tightly contested encounter ended in a 0-0 draw and the Natal Rich Boys went on to emerge as 5-4 winners on penalties in Durban.
Gallants, on the other hand, will also head to KwaZulu-Natal after being pitted against Lamontville Golden Arrows in another semi-final tie.
This will be the first-ever cup meeting between the two teams and they are also scheduled to meet on Sunday, November 2, in the Betway Premiership.
The PSL will announce the dates, venues and kick-off times of the two semi-final matches in due course.
