{"id":2046,"date":"2026-09-19T11:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-09-19T09:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/goalmzansi.com\/?p=2046"},"modified":"2026-09-19T09:33:22","modified_gmt":"2026-09-19T07:33:22","slug":"mohafe-meditates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/goalmzansi.com\/index.php\/2026\/09\/19\/mohafe-meditates\/","title":{"rendered":"Mohafe meditates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Phuti Mohafe believes that his sacking at Marumo Gallants came too soon and that he is already eyeing a return to coaching.<\/p>\n<p>Former Marumo Gallants coach Phuti Mohafe recently expressed that former side Marumo Gallants wanted immediate results heading into the 2026\/27 campaign while a poor run of results ultimately lead to his sacking.<\/p>\n<p>After noting to victories in the first five games of the season, the ex-Polokwane City mentor was shown the door at Gallants as Trevor Mathiane was roped in as the interim boss which paved the way for Ronny Kanalelo to be chosen as the new head coach.<\/p>\n<p>Reflecting on his situation, Mohafe said that for now, he is \u2018idling\u2019 at home in anticipation of a phone call while he wished for better circumstances at Gallants.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am still idling at home and making some contacts here and there. I don\u2019t know how long I will stay at home without a job,\u201d Mohafe said, <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.hollywoodbets.net\/soccer\/psl\/phuti-mohafe-eyes-immediate-return-to-management-after-shock-marumo-gallants-exit\/\" target=\"_blank\">as per Hollywood Bets<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t regret leaving Polokwane City. I took a risk, and the risk that I took didn\u2019t materialise into my perspective.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously, I had hoped for a longer stay, but it didn\u2019t happen.
