Following much speculation of Sales\u2019 immediate future at Sundowns, the Brazilian striker\u2019s absence from the squad has now been explained.<\/p>\n

With Mamelodi Sundowns preparing for the 2026\/27 football season, Arthur Sales is yet to report for duty while reasons for his absence have been revealed.<\/p>\n

Sales\u2019 endured a shoulder injury toward the end of the 2025\/26 campaign but remained in the team during the latter stages of the club\u2019s rigorous fixture schedule.<\/p>\n

Sundowns recently departed for Austria to commence their pre-season work as Sales\u2019 remained one of the biggest absentees from the team. However, according to Soccer Laduma<\/a>, the Brazilian is currently nursing an unspecified injury and is recovering at home.<\/p>\n

“No, he’s injured and has not recovered. That’s why you don’t see him at the moment,” a source told the publication.<\/p>\n
