{"id":1697,"date":"2026-06-14T10:15:43","date_gmt":"2026-06-14T08:15:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/goalmzansi.com\/?p=1697"},"modified":"2026-06-14T10:15:44","modified_gmt":"2026-06-14T08:15:44","slug":"milford-mania","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/goalmzansi.com\/index.php\/2026\/06\/14\/milford-mania\/","title":{"rendered":"Milford Mania"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Milford coach Dr Xanti Pupuma shockingly expressed that he is ready to \u2018resign\u2019 after his side won the PSL Promotion\/Relegation play-offs to earn themselves a place in the PSL.<\/p>\n<p>The former Motsepe Foundation Championship side ended the round robin mini-league in first place this weekend following a 1-1 draw with Magesi at the Seshego Stadium on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Milford required just a point over Magesi in their final match to secure promotion, as they ended the tournament two points clear of their opponents at the top of the pile. Pupuma thus claimed that talks of resignation thus took place but reiterated his desire to settle the squad in South Africa\u2019s top flight next season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[Laughs] I\u2019m ready to resign, but I don\u2019t think the boys are going to let me go more than my brothers are the boys,&#8221; Pupuma said after the match.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In fact, we had a conversation about it and we said let\u2019s give them one season so that they can step in and settle well.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd we\u2019re waiting for Mike and Zane to come in with their badges and stuff, we don\u2019t really want to bring in an outside ideally.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, my aim is to allow them to grow into the structure. So, let\u2019s see how it goes, I got other things to look at, my other job so I\u2019m trying to balance things out because PSL is quite demanding.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;So, I will see what works for me
