making notable strides regarding the fitness of Rushwin Dortley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dortley has been out of action since March 2025 with injury, while his place in the national team fold remains in jeopardy ahead of the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup later this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chiefs are currently enduring a mini injury crisis in their defence department, after Aden McCarthy limped off during the Soweto giant\u2019s 0-0 draw with Polokwane on Saturday, while Zitha Kwinika has been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, Kaze revealed that Dortley is close to making a return and is currently doing ball work at Naturena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThat is the question that will be directed to the medical team,\u201d Kaze told iDiskiTimes, as per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goal.com\/en-za\/lists\/cedric-kaze-gives-update-on-rushwin-dortley-as-another-kaizer-chiefs-centre-back-limps-off-ahead-of-soweto-derby-clash-with-orlando-pirates\/bltb48ee770d76318fb\">GOAL<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHowever, last week he started to be with us, to touch the ball.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019m pretty sure he is not far from
