League.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso is of the thought that the Brazilians began to tire out during their 2-1 loss against Al-Hilal following their trip to Rwanda this past Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As it stands, Sundowns are now three points behind table toppers Al-Hilal after four matches played in Group C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adding to their intense travel schedule, Sundowns will take on Gomora United in the Nedbank Cup on Wednesday before making their way to Congo this coming weekend for a clash against Saint-Eloi Lupopo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDespite changing a few players in the team compared to the previous match, it was clear that we were tired,\u201d Cardoso said after the match, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sowetan.co.za\/sport\/2026-02-02-cardoso-under-pressure-as-sundowns-eye-caf-knockout-stage\/\">as per the Sowetan<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDespite it looking close, we had to make a trip and it was clear in certain moments that the team was a little bit tired and you feel that by the number of mistakes that you make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNow it\u2019s time to go back home and see who\u2019s in the best condition to play because that cup
